Coach DJ Ferguson brings a strong basketball background and a genuine passion for player development to every training session. Originally from Lansing, Michigan, he currently serves as an Assistant Coach at Kalamazoo College (since August 2025), where he was also recognized as Most Improved Player during his senior year.

Coach Ferguson has coached and trained athletes at various levels, drawing from his experience competing in the 2022 NCAA Division III Tournament with Heidelberg University and as a member of the 2023 Moneyball Pro-Am Championship team. His background also includes a decorated high school career, earning CAAC All-Conference, Lansing All-Area, and All-State honors, as well as selection to the Lansing State Journal Dream Team.

His coaching philosophy centers on building confident, disciplined athletes through personalized training that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and mental toughness in a positive, safe environment.
